You can use heart ♥ symbol, it engraves good.

For anagrams on the front like in the example use | symbol , example W | D .

If you enter W D it will just 2 letters without separator in the middle, matter of taste.

I only engrave in this single font as it's easy to read, all letters are reasonably recognizable and are well spaced out, which I cannot tell about many others.
